Google Glass in Theaters?!

For those that have not heard yet, a man wearing Google Glass was pulled from a theater by the Department of Homeland Security and questioned for an hour. I am not condoning what he did at all, that no matter how you look at it was just plain dumb on his part, what I do also find ridicules is that Homeland Security was even called to deal with that. Why the hell didn't the manager of the theater just have a talk with the guy letting him know he can't wear those in the theater, and if he refused to take them off ask him to leave, and if he still refuses call the police...seriously why in the hell was Homeland involved in this scenario?? Talk about a waste of tax money for something that in all honesty could of been an accident/over sight of the man in question. Now for those tat do not even know what Google Glass is, here is a short over view,
So basically Google Glass is a headset computer with built in video recorder and camera among other special features. It, as far as I know, can also work in tandem with your phone. In case your curious what the screen looks like...

So just based on that little bit of knowledge you can see why Google Glass in a movie theater can be problematic and not allowed. In fact Google Glass is being banned from various establishments simply because it records what the wearer is seeing and so a lot of people they find it creepy and an invasion of privacy. Which is funny considering US Government has access to, I am sure, more cameras than they should and can just as easily violate your privacy but whatever...that is kind of my view on the whole thing and you never know, my mind could change over the years. What about you guys? Thoughts on Google Glass?
