BJ Novak Amazing SpiderMan 2 Role?!

   There has been a lot of secrecy about Novak's role in the new Spider-Man movies, but not anymore thanks to director Mark Webb. Novak is portraying Alistair Smyth who is a supervillain. He is responsible for a series of robots called Spider-Slayers that are meant to do exactly what the name implies, hunting Spider-Man throughout New York City and kill him. Eventually though, in an effort to defeat Spider-Man himself, Alistair encases himself in a bio-organic exoskeleton, which serves as body armor and increases his strength. At that point he was known as the Ultimate Spider-Slayer. It is unclear if Smythe will have a major role to play or not, and personally with three villains already set for Spider-Man in the second movie I am fine with a small role for now with a possible set up for the Sinister Six movie or just a later villain. I don't think the movie is to over crowded by any means, but for a second movie I think 3 for now wile Spider-Man is still finding his stride works great.
