Escape From NY Reboot?!

   We can, it seems, thank the Batman video games for this weird reboot of the Escape from NY. Since the rights for the franchise have now reverted back to Joel Silver he has come out to talk about hi influence and plans for the reboot...

I personally have not seen Escape from NY...its quiet a bit before my time so I will need to track down a way to see it. But just based off what I was able to find...I don't buy his thoughts on a reboot at the moment. Would I like to see a reboot of this particular franchise? Sure, I am all for good movies, whether they be reboots, remakes, or original ideas. So as long as the movie is good I am a happy guy.
