JK Rowling and the internet at large have been blowing up with all this chatter lately about Harry Potter and Hermione not ending up together in the movies. JK her self has come out to say that she thinks it was a mistake to put Hermione with Ron...I understand the talk and desire for Harry to be with Hermione instead of Ron because in the films the chemistry between them was there and would of made a deeper impact on the franchise. But from what I understand the books puts Ron with her so I applaud the movies staying true to the original content. The fact that JK is bringing all this up now...I find it rather weird and pointless unless the whole purpose of it is to keep people thinking about the Harry Potter universe for when her new book turned movie comes out based off of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I know that one does not directly have anything to do with the other but the fact remains that Harry Potter is over and has been for a bit now...its only natural it grows from peoples minds, especially with all the super hero movies taking over. So my point is maybe JK brought this all up to keep the Harry Potter universe fresh in peoples minds. Or maybe she really does feel this way about her characters...or hell maybe its both. No matter which it is though, its all utter nonsense.The Harry Potter franchise is over and don't get me wrong, I grew up on them and love the franchise, but, the characters where put with who they were put with. There is no changing that now. So what is the point of it all?? That's my thoughts on the matter at least, maybe you all think differently about it. If so let me know, maybe you can change my mind on the matter.
