I just got home from watching the first amazing movie of the year!! The Lego Movie! So the Lego Movie follows a bland normal everyday construction worker who gets pulled into a fight to save all the different "realms" of the Lego-verse. As you probably guessed, the movie takes from various sources in terms of lands and characters including Batman, Superman, Gandalf, President Lincoln ect and so on. The bad guy, President Business, is trying to "destroy" the Lego world. So Emmett, the construction guy, goes on a quest with various characters to save their world. As much as I want to sell this movie to you as a must see, its really really hard without giving up the ending, so just take me word for it, if you ever played with Lego's, or even just had/have an imagination...you'll love this movie! The comedy in it is amusing, the characters are enjoyable and recognizable, the CGI or stop motion used is fantastic! Everything in film is made of Lego; the smoke, water, buildings, vehicles, everything! Its absolutely sweet to see. Of course with voice talents from Liam Neeson, Chris Pratt, Morgan Freeman, Will Ferrell and Elizabeth Banks among others, there is no reason not to see this movie!! So The Lego Movie, GO SEE IT!!! "Everything is awesome!!"
