In Wyoming, a little girl reads people's darkest secrets by the way they fold their arms. In New York, a man sensing patterns in the stock market racks up $300 billion. In Chicago, a woman can go invisible by being where no one is looking. They're called "brilliants," and since 1980, one percent of people have been born this way. Nick Cooper is among them; a federal agent, Cooper has gifts rendering him exceptional at hunting terrorists. His latest target may be the most dangerous man alive, a brilliant drenched in blood and intent on provoking civil war. But to catch him, Cooper will have to violate everything he believes in—and betray his own kind.A girl who goes invisible by being somewhere where no one is looking...wait...WHAT??!! This seems like a useless power but hey, if it works for the story so be it!! So what are your thoughts on the sound of this?

Will Smith to join SciFi movie Brilliance!!
According to "The Wrap", Will Smith is due to star in an adaptation of Marcus Sakey's sci-fi/superhero novel, Brilliance(haven't read it yet) and short film director Julius Onah is helming the project, while Jurassic Park scribe, David Koepp, is handling the writing. So, what's Brilliance about? Well, it tells of a world where 1% of people are born with special powers - some seem relatively benign (to the point of uselessness), while others can be extremely powerful, it sounds pretty awesome in my opinion and I think Will shines in good Sci-fi films without question. But here's a synopsis for the book...
