In a recent interview fan favorite Lex Luthor Bryan Cranston was asked about the rumors in his talks with Warner Bros. Well...they never happened according to him. He was never approached to play Superman's nemesis Lex, even though he say's he would of loved to. I am actually OK with this...I wanted a younger Lex for this new universe, someone that is more Superman's age and can be a "life long" villain for him. Let's face it...Cranston is 57 years old...that's just not something I personally wanted to see. So even though I am not jumping for joy over the Eisenberg casting, I am not dismissing the possibility of him owning the role and giving me what I am hoping for. Sorry Cranston fans!!
