Captain America Winter Soldier Movie SPOILER Review!!!

Alright, as I said before this movie had so much going on and was so outstanding that I just had to do a Spoiler review, and yes that along with the title is your spoiler warning. If you have not seen the movie yet, go do that before reading any further. With that taken care of lets talk about this movie!!!

Lets start at the beginning and work our way through...I loved at the start when we see Steve Rogers (Cap) doing a morning jog and passing by the guy that will later be Falcon, and the constant, "On your left." dialogue. It was funny, charming and it started the relationship. The chemistry between Steve and Sam(Falcon) was evident early on and it worked for me. From here lets talk about the boat mission with Widow and Cap, there chemistry on screen is the best of the film because their different world views cause conflict but at the same time they respect each other. Their screen time together was amazing. Especially when Cap finds out on the boat that Widow had a different mission from his and he was unaware of it. Which of course causes trouble when the hijack leader gets away. While on that topic, the fighting in this movie...OMG the fighting, every fighting scene was full throttle ass kicking fun to watch. Was just beautifully done. Now the screen time that Sam Jackson's Nick Fury gets this movie and the history/background we get for his character is great. We start to understand and see why Cap and Fury have these differences(besides the era differences) and their chemistry this film is top notch. Seems to be a recurring theme for this movie, everyone works 110% together and it makes the experience fantastic. While talking about Fury, what about that car chase scene?? Was great, really gave you that spy thriller Tom Clancy type of movie feel and that is when I started to compare Winter Soldier with Avengers, that is also when I figured out that hat this movie is better, but in very different way from Avengers. Meaning you can not compare the two, the tones and style are too different. When Fury "died" I immediately called BS...but that's because its a super hero movie, no one ever really dies in these things.

Now lets movie on to the action scenes, every single one of them worked for me, the meshed well with the story, everything had a purpose and reason for turning out that way. When we find out that Zola was alive in the shape of a computer and that Hydra was still alive and thriving in SHIELD, as someone that does not read comics, I was like...WTF!? I totally did not see that coming at all. And even though I am not a fan of villain monologues this one worked for me and was great at the end when he said, "by the way, I have been stalling you." it was great! Which also means I need to step back a bit, when we get our first real look at Robert Redford(Alexander Pierce) the head of SHIELD. He played his role perfect, it was really hard for me to tell, good guy? Bad guy? I had no idea...which is great, I like when a movie keeps me guessing. Then the Cap escaping from SHIELD was FANTASTIC! The elevator fight was great, his line before it starts, which we see in the trailer but I did not care, "Before we start, does anyone want to get out?"....was hilarious. There are just sooo many AMAZING moments in this movie, it is hard to talk about all of them, but lets talk about our first introduction to Falcon flying, when Widow pushed that guy off the building, I thought they really did kill him and I was confused...was like, wait, he didn't tell them anything yet, that's not good. Then comes Falcon flying up holding the dude, was pretty awesome to see the "suit" and I was slightly worried that it might look cheesy, but it totally worked. We can't talk Captain America 2 without talking about Winter Soldier, who is Bucky Barnes, Steves WW2 friend that "died" in the first movie. He scared me, he played his part to perfectly that even just walking he was menacing, and fights between Cap and him were so fun to watch. I can not even decide on a favorite point in the movie...although I think at the end when Cap walks up the hill in his WW2 outfit that is pretty high up there. I loves his uniform from the first first, but his "stealth" uniform" from the boat mission was sweet to.
I loved that SHIELD is practically no more, with the issue with Hydra and their main office being destroyed in the final fight, I am curious to see how this all turns out now. Nick has gone into hiding, Cap is going to chase after Bucky, Falcon is going to help him, Widow has had every secret ever kept about her past and present revealed to the world then the greatest question...what about the Avengers? And the SHIELD TV show? so many open questions and closed chapters in this movie. Gah I need to see it again, and I will at least 2 more times. I said before that I give this a SOLID 10/10 and I stand by that, I also still believe that its better than Avengers but in a totally different way.
I have talked about my feeling on this movie, let me hear yours! GO GO!!
