DVD Releases

DVD Releases!

"Percy Jackson returns in this follow-up which finds Percy (Logan Lerman) and Annabeth (Alexandra Daddario) racing out to Sea of Monsters (aka the Bermuda Triangle) in search of the Golden Fleece that could save their world." I personally enjoyed this movie and have already bought it on DVD. I hope they keep making them there are plenty of books still to be adapted.

I have yet to see this, I missed it while it was in theaters, I have it on my Netflix que though and will get to it soon. "In the off-beat action comedy 'The Family', a mafia boss and his family are relocated to a sleepy town in France under the witness protection program after snitching on the mob."

This is another one I didn't make it to theaters for but is also on my que so keep checking back for a review. "How far would you go to protect your child? Keller Dover (Hugh Jackman) is facing every parent's worst nightmare. His six-year-old daughter, Anna, is missing, together with her young friend, Joy, and as minutes turn to hours, panic sets in."

I really loved the first one, thought it was fun and funny as hell. This one however...I liked it but have mixed feelings for it honestly, the story for this one just didn't really grab my attention as much as the first but it still had its bad ass parts so I suggest seeing it at least if you liked the first one. "Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010's irreverent global hit: 'Kick-Ass 2'. After Kick-Ass' (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)-reborn as The Mother F%&*^r-only the blade-wielding Hit Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation."

There are a lot this week I did not get to see yet...I failed! Yup I didn't catch this one either but its on my list. "In the year 2159, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth."

This movie was just bad...I don't even know how else to say it. I did not enjoy anything about this movie at all with the exception of Depp but even he was very boring compared to past movies. "A thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice-taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption."
